In 2009 33% of the Dutch citizens between 25 and 64 years completed higher education. From the citizens between 25 and 34 years, even 40% completed higher education. This puts the Netherlands at the level of our key comparison countries.
The Netherlands also has an international perspective, relatively low unemployment, even among the least educated.
